Progress in campaign for sustainable solution to access to cancer drugs

The Rarer Cancer Foundation’s work to identify a sustainable long-term solution to ensure that patients can continue to access the cancer drugs their doctors wish to prescribe has received a significant boost with the Government announcing that it is to increase resources for the Cancer Drugs Fund. NHS England has also committed to working with charities, including the RCF, in developing a new process for evaluating the effectiveness of new cancer treatments and those already available on the Fund.
